This project is a cinematic triptych of short films, each set in a different iconic city: New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Each segment is a standalone visual poem that captures the unique energy and atmosphere of its city through the lens of nightlife and urban solitude. From the gritty, rain-slicked streets of Manhattan to the pastel-hued art deco of Miami Beach and the sun-bleached boulevards of LA, the films will explore themes of longing, reinvention, and the search for connection in the city that never sleeps. What makes this project unique is its immersive approach to storytelling — minimal dialogue, relying instead on powerful visuals, a rich soundscape, and the raw emotion of the locations. The team will work with local talents in each city to ensure authenticity, capturing hidden gems and overlooked corners that tourists never see. The final output will be a cohesive series that showcases the filmmakers' range and the cities' distinct personalities, perfect for a director's reel or a festival submission.
