This project will create a 5-part vertical documentary series designed specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels, capturing the untold stories of London's most fascinating but often overlooked communities. Each 60-90 second episode will focus on one individual who represents a unique subculture, trade, or tradition that defines modern London yet remains hidden from mainstream narratives. We'll blend cinematic storytelling with social-first formatting, creating content that feels both polished and authentic to platform-native audiences. The series will leverage the 'hidden London' trend while tapping into the growing appetite for meaningful, human-centered vertical documentaries. What makes this unique is our focus on vertical-first cinematography and our commitment to finding stories that exist just beneath London's tourist surface—from night tube cleaners and traditional bookbinders to rooftop beekeepers and riverboat historians.
