Valletta Vertigo is a 5-minute dance film that uses the UNESCO-listed capital's unique topography—its steep streets, rooftop terraces, and harbour views—as a stage. The film blends contemporary dance with parkour-inspired movement, creating a visual poem about urban life and verticality. Shot in a single continuous take (or seamlessly stitched), the camera follows dancers as they leap between rooftops, descend spiral staircases, and interact with the city's limestone architecture. The concept draws on current trends in immersive dance films and site-specific performance, offering a fresh perspective on Malta's cultural landscape. The project is designed for a small, agile team and will serve as a striking portfolio piece for all involved.
