This project captures the essence of Manchester's Northern Quarter as a living, breathing canvas for digital creators. We'll follow a local influencer and an illustrator as they explore hidden street art, independent cafes, and music venues, documenting their creative process in real-time. The content will be a fusion of raw, behind-the-scenes footage and polished lifestyle vignettes, celebrating the area's unique blend of history and modernity. The concept is to create a micro-documentary series (3-4 episodes) that showcases how Manchester's creative community thrives in spaces like Afflecks Palace and Stevenson Square. By pairing a social media influencer with a visual artist, we'll highlight the cross-pollination of art forms in the city's most eclectic district. The final output will include both vertical and horizontal formats optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. What makes this unique is its focus on authenticity—no scripts, just real interactions and spontaneous creativity. The project will also feature a live mural painting session at the Outhouse MCR, allowing the audience to see the art come to life in real-time. This is a portfolio-worthy piece that positions Manchester as a hub for grassroots creative innovation.
