This project invites a small creative team to explore the ornate, sun-drenched streets of Valletta, Malta, and capture the city's unique Baroque heritage through a modern lens. The concept centers on creating a triptych of large-format photographic prints that blend traditional architectural details with surreal, digital overlays—inspired by the golden light of the Mediterranean and the intricate stonework of St. John's Co-Cathedral. The final installation will be designed for a pop-up gallery space within the city's historic fortifications, offering a dialogue between past and present. The project leverages current trends in maximalist visual storytelling and mixed-media art, allowing the team to experiment with techniques like double exposure, photomanipulation, and textured printing. By combining on-location shoots with post-production wizardry, the deliverables will showcase Malta's visual richness while pushing creative boundaries. The small team structure ensures collaborative agility, with each member owning a piece of the creative process—from scouting and shooting to editing and curation.
