Launch simultaneously in Hull & London on Day 22
This project creates a visual dialogue between two distinct British fashion landscapes: Hull's post-industrial renaissance and London's global fashion dominance. We'll produce a 12-look editorial series featuring emerging designers from both cities, shot against iconic and unexpected backdrops that tell a story of transformation and connection. The concept explores how fashion interacts with urban environments, using Hull's maritime history and London's contemporary architecture as contrasting canvases for wearable art. What makes this unique is the intentional pairing of locations: Hull's historic Fruit Market and Humber Street Gallery will be juxtaposed with London's Barbican Estate and Canary Wharf, creating visual conversations about heritage versus innovation, community versus commerce, and local identity versus global influence. We'll leverage the current trend of 'fashion as cultural commentary' while creating stunning portfolio pieces that showcase both cities in fresh, unexpected ways.
