This project reimagines the legendary hidden cabarets of 1920s Soho for a modern audience. We'll transform a secret courtyard off Dean Street into an intimate performance space, blending vintage burlesque, live music, and spoken word poetry that nods to London's diverse, gritty soul. The show will be a 20-minute looped performance, filmed by our in-house content creator for a digital cut that captures the raw, electric atmosphere. What makes this unique is the site-specific nature: we'll work with local Soho historians to weave real stories of the area's jazz and theatre roots into the script. The audience will be guided through a 'back-alley' entrance, with the performance echoing the area's history of rebellion and reinvention. The final deliverable is both a live, ticketed event and a short, cinematic film that serves as a powerful portfolio piece for all involved.
