This project is a unique fusion of music and film, creating a sensory exploration of two iconic British landscapes. We will craft an original ambient/experimental track that weaves together field recordings from the Thames River and the Surrey Hills, combined with electronic textures and live instrumentation. The accompanying visuals will be a cinematic montage of these locations, shot at golden hour and night, creating a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere that reflects the music's emotional arc. What makes this project truly special is its site-specific nature. We're not just filming in London and Surrey; we're capturing their unique sonic and visual essence. From the industrial hum of the Thames Barrier to the rustling leaves in Box Hill, every element will be a genuine piece of the environment. The final piece will be a 3-4 minute short film, perfect for film festivals, online release, and a standout portfolio piece for everyone involved. This project is a creative playground for a small team, blending the roles of a musician/composer, cinematographer, editor, and actor/model who can also serve as an on-screen narrator or performer. It leverages the current trend of immersive and atmospheric content, offering a high-art feel that is both commercially viable and artistically rewarding.
