This project bridges the cultural and creative energy of London and Hull through a two-part live event series. The first event takes place in Hull's historic Ferens Art Gallery, featuring a live audience and a curated lineup of local spoken word artists, musicians, and a live podcast recording. Simultaneously, a London-based host and crew broadcast from a pop-up studio in Shoreditch, engaging the Hull audience via live video feeds and social media polls. The second event flips the script: the London crew hosts a live audience at the Truman Brewery, while Hull's participants broadcast back. The project culminates in a shared digital 'afterparty' on Twitch, where both audiences can interact. This concept is unique because it uses location as a narrative device—contrasting Hull's maritime heritage and emerging arts scene with London's fast-paced, trendsetting culture—while creating a genuine, real-time connection between two distinct communities. The result is a portfolio-worthy demonstration of event production, cross-city collaboration, and hybrid audience engagement.
