Live event + online release
This project will create a temporary, immersive live event in the heart of Manchester's creative Northern Quarter. The concept fuses large-scale, hand-drawn neon-style illustrations with a live, atmospheric soundscape performed by an actor. The installation will be set in a disused shop or warehouse, referencing Manchester's industrial heritage while pushing into a futuristic, neon-drenched aesthetic. The audience will walk through a narrative journey of light, sound, and performance, exploring themes of urban regeneration and creative identity. The piece will be documented for portfolio use and social media, capturing both the build process and the final live event. It leverages the trend of experiential, Instagrammable art events while staying deeply rooted in Manchester's music and visual art history. The final output will be a compelling showreel and a series of high-quality images, plus a live date that invites the local creative community.
