Voices of Namma Bengaluru is a unique performing arts project that transforms the city itself into a stage. Audiences will be guided on a curated walking tour through Bengaluru's historic and cultural heart—from the bustling lanes of Chickpet to the serene spaces of Cubbon Park—while listening to a binaural audio track that weaves together original spoken word poetry, dramatic monologues, and ambient city sounds. At each location, live performers will appear in unexpected corners, syncing their movements and lines with the audio, creating a seamless blend of recorded narrative and live theatre. This project celebrates Bengaluru's multilingual and multicultural identity, featuring performances in English, Kannada, and Hindi. The creative vision is to reclaim public spaces as venues for storytelling, connecting the city's rich history with its contemporary pulse. It's an intimate yet accessible experience, limited to small groups, making it perfect for arts festivals, heritage walks, or private commissions. What makes this unique is its use of 'audio-led' performance—the audience becomes an active participant, guided by headphones, while live actors appear and disappear like urban ghosts. The production is designed to be low-cost and flexible, using only a few performers and minimal set, yet it delivers a deeply evocative, immersive experience that will stand out in any portfolio.
