Project Brief

This project creates a short, high-impact fashion film where the movement of models wearing sculptural, monochromatic garments is intrinsically linked to an original musical score. Set within the iconic brutalist landscape of the Barbican Centre, the concept explores the 'sonic texture' of architecture and fabric. The models' pacing, pauses, and interactions with the space will be choreographed to the rhythm and mood of a bespoke electronic composition, making the music a direct driver of the visual narrative. What makes this project unique is its synesthetic approach, treating fashion not just as visual but as an auditory experience. We will capture the contrast between the hard, geometric lines of the Barbican and the fluid, organic shapes of the clothing, using London's most famous brutalist landmark as both a set and a character. The final piece will be a portfolio-worthy art film designed for digital exhibition, social media virality, and potential submission to fashion film festivals, leveraging the current trend of architectural fashion and immersive audio-visual content.
