This project invites audiences to an exclusive, one-night-only immersive experience set against the stunning backdrop of the Surrey Hills. Blending elements of theatre, live art, and interactive performance, the 'Thameside Soirée' reimagines a traditional garden party as a surreal, dreamlike journey. The narrative follows a fictional socialite's farewell to her beloved estate, with guests guided through a series of vignettes that unfold across the landscape, from a twilight picnic to a candlelit dance under the stars. What makes this project unique is its fusion of London's avant-garde performance scene with Surrey's pastoral elegance. By staging the event at a private estate or a National Trust property like Polesden Lacey, we create a sense of intimacy and discovery that is impossible in a traditional theatre. The production leverages current trends in immersive theatre and 'experience economy' events, offering a portfolio-worthy piece that demonstrates creative direction, narrative design, and audience engagement. The final deliverable will be a professionally documented film of the event, capturing the atmospheric performances, the intricate styling, and the audience's reactions. This film will serve as a stunning showreel piece for the cast and crew, showcasing their versatility and ability to create compelling, site-specific work.
