This project reimagines the River Thames as a living, breathing performer. We will create a one-night-only live event at the Southbank Centre that blends a live string quartet, silent disco headsets, and interactive light projections responding to Thames tidal data. The audience, wearing wireless headphones, will wander the riverfront and hear a bespoke, location-accurate composition that shifts with the real-time ebb and flow of the tide. The visual element will be a large-scale projection onto the river wall, showing abstracted tidal patterns and water textures. This event is unique because it uses location-specific, live environmental data to drive both the music and visuals, creating a truly unrepeatable experience tied to London's most iconic waterway. It taps into the current trend of 'deep listening' and location-based immersive audio experiences.
