Cubbon Park After Dark transforms Bangalore's iconic green lung into a sensory playground after sunset. This three-week project invites a small team of artists to create a temporary, immersive trail that weaves through the park's landmarks—from the bandstand to the bamboo grove. The trail will feature a series of interconnected installations: hidden speakers playing a composed soundscape of Bangalore's urban nature, responsive light projections on trees and pathways, and pop-up performances by local musicians and dancers. The concept draws from the park's dual identity as a colonial-era botanical garden and a modern public space, exploring themes of memory, nature, and urban life. What makes it unique is its ephemeral nature and deep community engagement: visitors become active participants, their movements triggering sounds and lights. The project aligns with Bangalore's growing interest in experiential art and offers a fresh way to experience a familiar landmark.
