This project reimagines the classic English garden party as a modern, immersive live event. Set in a private estate in the Surrey Hills, guests will follow a curated path through manicured gardens, encountering actors and models performing vignettes of contemporary fashion and storytelling. Each scene is a living tableau inspired by the grounds—think a model in ethereal silk among ancient oaks, or a short monologue by a topiary hedge. The event culminates in a live acoustic set from a local musician as the sun sets over the Surrey landscape. What makes this unique is the blend of high-fashion editorial with live, ephemeral performance. The small team will collaborate to design and execute three distinct installations, each lasting 10-15 minutes, for a small invited audience of 30 people. The project leverages the current trend for 'experiential fashion' and 'site-specific theatre', creating shareable, visually stunning content for portfolios and social media. The Surrey Hills provide a naturally dramatic backdrop that requires minimal set dressing, allowing the talent and clothing to shine. This is achievable for a small team because it focuses on a single, highly curated afternoon rather than a multi-day festival. With one lead actor/model, two supporting models, a stylist, a photographer/videographer, and a sound designer, the project can be planned and executed in under a month. The final deliverables will be a short documentary film of the event, a series of high-fashion stills, and social media content that captures the magic of the live experience.
