Hyderabad Heritage Reels is a 6-part Instagram Reels series that explores the city's lesser-known historical gems—from the hidden stepwells of Golconda to the fading art of Bidriware. Each 60-second episode blends cinematic visuals with intimate storytelling, featuring local artisans, historians, and food vendors. The series aims to rekindle pride in Hyderabad's syncretic culture while appealing to a global audience of travel enthusiasts. We'll collaborate with local influencers and content creators to co-create episodes, ensuring authentic representation. The project leverages current trends in vertical video, fast-paced editing, and immersive sound design. By partnering with Hyderabad-based brands, we'll also integrate subtle product placements, creating a sustainable model for future content. What makes this unique is its hyper-local focus combined with high production value. We'll use drone shots of Charminar at sunrise, macro shots of intricate lacquer work, and interviews with the last remaining practitioners of dying crafts. The series will culminate in a live screening event at Lamakaan, celebrating the city's creative community.
