Northern Voices is a collaborative fashion project centered on Manchester's unique identity as a city of reinvention. We blend the raw textures of red brick, cobbled alleyways, and Victorian ironwork with contemporary streetwear and sustainable fashion. Our concept: a series of editorial photos and a short video that explores the juxtaposition between the city's industrial past and its vibrant, creative present. The project will take place across iconic spots like the Northern Quarter's indie shops, Castlefield's canals, and the dramatic arches under the Mancunian Way. Each look tells a story of authenticity and community, using local vintage, upcycled, and emerging designer pieces. This is a chance to create a visual love letter to Manchester's fashion future, rooted in its gritty heritage.
