Launch on Instagram and fashion film festival submissions
This project explores the intersection of urban grit and high-fashion luxury across three iconic American cities: New York, Miami, and LA. The concept is to create a 6-look capsule collection that draws inspiration from each city's distinctive architecture, textures, and light. In New York, think raw steel and glass skyscrapers; in Miami, pastel art deco and neon; in LA, desert minimalism and infinity pools. Each look will be shot on location against a landmark that defines that city's aesthetic, with the final output being a cohesive lookbook and a 60-second fashion film. What makes this project unique is the narrative of travel and transformation. The same model will appear in each city, but with styling and makeup that adapts to the local vibe—creating a visual story of a chameleon-like figure who embodies the spirit of each metropolis. The project leverages the current trend of 'city-specific styling' popularized by street style photographers and fashion influencers, while also playing with the contrast between organic and industrial materials. The team will collaborate remotely during pre-production (mood boards, sketch reviews) then travel to each city for 2-3 days of shooting. The final deliverables will be a 10-page digital lookbook optimized for Instagram and a short film that can be submitted to fashion film festivals.
