Thames Twilight is an immersive live event that merges fashion, film, and performance against the backdrop of London's iconic river. Set at the Southbank Centre's Riverside Terrace during golden hour, the event features a runway show where models wear sustainable designs inspired by the Thames, while live film projections onto water screens create a dynamic visual narrative. The show is choreographed to a live soundtrack, with actors portraying historical river characters who interact with the models, blurring the line between reality and performance. Surrey-based artists contribute large-scale illuminated sculptures that float on the river, adding a surreal touch. The concept draws from London's rich history of riverpageants and Surrey's natural landscapes, reimagined through a contemporary lens of sustainability and digital art. The event aims to be carbon-neutral, using recycled materials and renewable energy. It's designed to be highly shareable, with multiple camera crews capturing content for social media and a later release as a short film. This project offers a unique portfolio opportunity for actors, models, and crew to be part of a groundbreaking hybrid event. By combining live performance with cinematic elements, Thames Twilight creates a new format that appeals to audiences in both fashion and film. The event will culminate in a after-party at a nearby venue, fostering networking and celebration. The entire process is documented, providing participants with high-quality footage for their portfolios.
