Launch on day 22
This project reimagines New York City's gritty subway stations and abandoned platforms as a high-fashion runway. We'll cast four models, each representing a different borough's style, and shoot them in raw, unpolished transit environments—from the mosaic tunnels of the 42nd Street station to the derelict platforms of the High Line's original rail tracks. The concept is 'urban decay meets haute couture', using natural light and flash to create dramatic, cinematic portraits. What makes this unique is the fusion of street culture with high fashion, inspired by the work of photographers like Bruce Davidson and contemporary brands like Off-White. The final deliverables will include a 20-image editorial series, a behind-the-scenes reel for TikTok/Reels, and a digital zine optimized for Instagram carousels. The project taps into the current trend of 'gritty luxury' and celebrates New York's raw identity. We'll collaborate with an emerging streetwear designer to create custom looks that incorporate reclaimed materials (e.g., deconstructed MTA maps, repurposed scaffolding nets). The shoot will be documented live on social media, building audience anticipation before the final drop.
