Project Brief

This project captures the haunting beauty of London's South Bank, from the brutalist concrete of the National Theatre to the shimmering glass of the City Hall. Using medium-format film cameras and long exposures, we will create a series of 12 high-contrast black-and-white photographs that reveal the hidden textures and geometries of this iconic stretch. The unique challenge is shooting during the 'blue hour' and into the night, using only ambient light to capture the eerie stillness of places like Gabriel's Wharf and the Oxo Tower after the crowds have left.
