This project invites a small creative team to uncover and document five of Malta's most enchanting secret gardens, from the ancient citrus groves of Mdina to the coastal wildflower meadows of Gozo. Each episode will be a 60-second vertical video that combines drone footage, close-up macro shots of flora, and voiceover narratives inspired by Maltese folklore and personal reflections. The series aims to inspire a sense of wonder and wanderlust, positioning each garden as a character in its own right — with its own mood, light, and hidden history. We'll use a consistent visual palette of warm earth tones and soft greens, with an ambient soundtrack blending acoustic guitar and field recordings of birdsong and water. The unique hook? Each episode ends with a 'map clue' for the audience to guess the location, driving engagement and comments.
