This project aims to capture the unique auditory soul of Hyderabad through a hybrid music composition. The core concept is to record the city's distinct soundscapes—from the call to prayer at Mecca Masjid and the clatter of bangles at Laad Bazaar to the hum of tech hubs at HITEC City and the rhythmic sizzle of street-side Irani chai. These field recordings will be seamlessly woven into an original electro-acoustic track, blending traditional local instruments (like the dholak and sitar) with contemporary electronic production. The final deliverable will be a compelling music video that visually and sonically narrates the city's duality: its ancient, poetic history and its modern, pulsating ambition. What makes this project unique is its hyper-local authenticity and its role as a love letter to Hyderabad's diverse character, offering a fresh, trend-aware take on world music by directly incorporating urban field recordings as compositional elements.
