This project fuses the raw, textured aesthetic of Manchester's industrial architecture with the precision and drama of high fashion. We will create a cohesive 8-10 look editorial shoot set in iconic locations like the Castlefield viaducts, the red brick of the Northern Quarter, and the reclaimed spaces of Salford Quays. The vision is to celebrate the city's heritage while pushing fashion forward, using contrasting materials (leather, wool, sheer fabrics) against gritty backdrops to create a powerful visual narrative about resilience and reinvention. What makes this unique is the integration of local history and modern creativity. Each look will tell a story of transformation, inspired by the cityβs journey from cotton mills to creative hub. The final deliverables will include a series of high-res editorial images, a short behind-the-scenes film, and a mood board that could serve as a pitch for a larger campaign. This is a portfolio-centric project designed to showcase styling, modelling, and creative direction skills in a way that feels authentic to Manchester.
