This project transforms a disused warehouse in Hackney Wick into a multi-sensory live event space. The core concept is a 'deconstructed concert' where musicians perform in the round, surrounded by reactive video projections mapped onto brick walls and industrial structures. The event will blend genres: an indie rock band performs a 30-minute set, followed by a DJ and vocalist duo that layers live vocals over electronic beats. A visual artist (or videographer) will capture and remix footage in real-time, projecting it as an evolving visual backdrop. What makes this unique is the DIY, raw aesthetic of East London's creative scene—no polished venues, just raw space and talent. The audience will move through different zones: the main performance area, a chill-out loft with ambient sound installations, and a 'creation corner' where attendees can contribute to a digital mural. This is a portfolio piece for anyone involved—directors can showcase event cinematography, musicians can prove their live draw, and stylists/model can document the 90s rave-meets-cyberpunk fashion theme. The project leverages the current trend of intimate, immersive live experiences that prioritize sensory engagement over scale. With a small team, we can execute this in late August/early September, capitalizing on London's post-festival lull.
