Project Brief

This project is an immersive, live event staged on a private, moored barge on the Thames. The concept is 'The Upstream' — an intimate, curated night that blends live music, spoken word, and visual art with the unique backdrop of the London skyline. The event will be designed as a sensory journey, with attendees moving through different 'zones' on the barge: a dimly lit performance deck, a projection-mapped lounge, and an open-air viewing platform. The river's movement and city lights become part of the performance. What makes this project unique is its dual focus: the live experience for 50 invited guests (creatives, press, influencers) and the parallel production of high-quality, documentary-style content. A small camera crew will capture the event as it happens, creating a short, atmospheric film and a series of social-first vertical clips. The entire project, from concept to clean-up, is designed to be completed in four weeks, leveraging London's off-peak winter season for barge hire and venue access. The final deliverables — a 3-minute 'event film' and a set of 6-8 short influencer-ready clips — will serve as a stunning portfolio piece for all involved, demonstrating the ability to produce a complex, location-specific live event with multi-format content output.
