Conceived as a response to London's nocturnal energy, 'London After Dark' transforms the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall into a living, breathing canvas. The project invites audiences to move through a landscape of projected light, generative soundscapes, and live performance vignettes that echo the city's pulse from dusk till dawn. It's a sensory exploration of urban isolation and connection, using the hall's industrial scale to create intimate moments within a vast space. What sets this project apart is its integration of real-time audience data. Through a simple mobile web app, visitors' movements and choices influence the ambient visuals and audio, making each night's performance unique. The project culminates in a 30-minute 'finale' where all elements converge into a choreographed spectacle, streamed live to a global audience. This is a portfolio-defining project for creatives looking to push boundaries in experiential design and live events, set against the backdrop of one of the world's most celebrated cultural landmarks.
