Project Brief

This project captures the stark contrast between London's historic architecture and its modern glass-and-steel skyline. A single model, styled in avant-garde high-fashion pieces, moves through a series of locations—from the brutalist curves of the Barbican Centre to the sleek escalators of the Gherkin lobby—at golden hour and into the blue hour. The narrative is minimal: a metaphor for the city's perpetual reinvention and the individual's place within its grand scale. What makes this unique is the use of practical lighting: car headlights, street lamps, and the city's own ambient glow create a raw, cinematic texture. The film is shot on a handheld gimbal for a fluid, almost documentary feel, juxtaposed with precise, editorial styling. We'll also incorporate subtle reflection shots—through puddles after a London drizzle or in the Gherkin's mirrored panels—to add depth. The final piece will be a 90-second short film, optimized for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with a moody electronic soundtrack composed specifically for the project.
