Thames Pulse is a site-specific performance that unfolds along the South Bank, from the Tate Modern to the London Eye. The piece responds to the river's rhythm, using the architecture and public spaces as a stage. A small ensemble of performers will lead the audience on a journey, combining physical theatre, live music, and projected visuals. The performance explores themes of connection, migration, and the constant flow of city life, mirroring the Thames itself. What makes this unique is its integration of live performance with film. A director and cinematographer will capture the performance in real-time, projecting edited footage onto nearby walls and surfaces, creating a layered, immersive experience. The project leverages the trend of immersive, location-based storytelling and the growing appetite for outdoor performance in London. It's designed to be ephemeral yet impactful, with the final film serving as a lasting document.
