Launch on final Friday of week 3
This project transforms forgotten spaces beneath London into temporary performance venues, creating an intimate, site-specific experience that explores the city's hidden history through sound and movement. The performance will take place in decommissioned tube tunnels or disused underground spaces (with proper permissions), using the unique acoustics and atmosphere as integral elements of the show. The concept merges live electronic music production with physical theatre, where musicians become performers and the space itself becomes an instrument. We'll use contact microphones on architectural elements, field recordings from London's streets above, and live vocal processing to create a sonic landscape that responds to both the performers and the environment. This project taps into the growing trend of immersive, location-based performances while celebrating London's unique underground culture.
