Camden Town pulses with music and markets, but step off the main drag and you’ll find peeling paint, rusted signs, and quiet doorways. This project will transform five overlooked nooks into surreal, neon-drenched installations using projection mapping and physical props. We’ll blend the gritty heritage of Camden Lock with a futuristic aesthetic—think Blade Runner meets Banksy. The result will be a short photo series and a 60-second video loop capturing these fleeting, hybrid spaces. We’ll scout locations like the canal tunnel near Hawley Wharf, the graffiti wall at Camden Road, and the bridge under the railway arches. Using portable LED panels and a pico projector, we’ll add animated neon signs, digital rain, and holographic birds. The team will work after dark for four nights, shooting with a mirrorless camera and capturing behind-the-scenes content for social media. This is a low-budget, high-impact project that leverages London’s iconic edgy charm and the current trend of urban cyberpunk revival.
