This project reimagines Manchester's iconic textile and industrial heritage through a futuristic lens. Set against the backdrop of the city's red brick mills and the modern skyline, we will create a high-fashion editorial film and photo series that explores the contrast between past and future. The concept is 'Industrial Glam' – where utilitarian aesthetics meet avant-garde style, using materials like reflective fabrics, neon accents, and technical wear. The team will scout locations like the Ancoats canals, the Castlefield viaduct, and the Manchester Town Hall to create a visual narrative of transformation. We'll blend the rawness of Victorian architecture with sleek, futuristic fashion pieces. The film will feature dynamic movement, dramatic lighting, and close-up details of textures and silhouettes, while the photo series will capture striking single frames that could stand alone as editorial spreads. This project is unique because it leverages Manchester's status as a former textile powerhouse and its current rebirth as a digital and creative hub. By featuring local talent and using real, accessible locations, we create an authentic yet aspirational piece that highlights the city's character. The final deliverables will be a 1-2 minute fashion film and a set of 10-15 high-resolution editorial photos, perfect for portfolios and social media.
