Ilorin is a city of deep history and vibrant youth culture, yet its creative stories often go unheard. This project is a 4-episode short-form content series that explores the city's unique blend of tradition and modernity through the lens of its young creators, musicians, and artisans. We will use the iconic Sobi Hill as our central visual motif, filming at dawn and dusk to capture its majestic backdrop. The creative vision is to produce authentic, cinematic vlogs that feel like visual poetry. Each episode will follow a different local talent (a spoken word artist, a street food vendor, a tailor, and a drummer) as they share their craft and connection to Ilorin. The series will be edited with a warm, nostalgic color grade, layered with ambient city sounds and local music, creating an immersive experience for a global audience. What makes this unique is its focus on authentic, non-scripted storytelling set against a specific, recognizable local landmark. It leverages the rising trend of 'hyper-local' content on platforms like YouTube and Instagram, offering a fresh, raw perspective on a city often overlooked by mainstream media.
