Launch on Day 22
This project reimagines London as a living instrument. We will create a three-part visual album where each episode is built around the distinct sonic identity of a lesser-known London location. The concept merges field recordings, original electronic/ambient compositions, and cinematic visuals to tell a non-narrative story of the city. Each location's natural sounds—from the hum of the Mail Rail tunnels to the echoes in the Leake Street Arches—will be sampled, processed, and woven into an original musical track. What makes this unique is its hyperlocal, sensory approach. Instead of focusing on famous landmarks, we explore the acoustic textures of overlooked spaces, creating a portrait of London felt through vibration and resonance. This aligns perfectly with current trends in immersive audio, ASMR-inspired content, and location-specific storytelling. The final product will be a portfolio-worthy piece that demonstrates innovative cross-disciplinary creation, blending music production with evocative documentary filmmaking.
