This project is a love letter to Bengaluru, told through the eyes of a graphic designer and illustrator. We will create a series of 3-4 highly detailed, stylized illustrations of iconic Bengaluru locations, such as the Vidhana Soudha, the bull at Basavanagudi, the iconic IISc campus, and a bustling Koramangala street scene. The illustrations will blend modern vector art with a touch of old-world charm, capturing the city's unique blend of tradition and technology. What makes this project unique is its focus on creating a cohesive visual narrative that is both personal and universally appealing. Each illustration will be color-coded to represent a different time of day (morning, afternoon, evening, night), creating a subtle, flowing timeline of a day in Bengaluru. The final deliverables will be a set of high-resolution digital prints and a single, large-format illustrated map that connects all locations, suitable for printing as a poster or a limited-edition zine.
