This project will capture a compelling fashion editorial that bridges the rich history of Hyderabad with its contemporary style. The concept involves dressing models in avant-garde designs that incorporate traditional Hyderabadi elements (like pearl jewelry and handwoven textiles) and shooting them against the backdrop of the city's most famous landmarks: the Charminar, Golconda Fort, and the Qutb Shahi Tombs. The narrative is one of contrast and harmony—old vs. new, tradition vs. modernity—creating a visually stunning portfolio that celebrates the city's unique identity. We will explore a moody, cinematic aesthetic, using natural light during the golden hour to highlight the textures of the historical stone structures alongside the clean lines of modern fashion. The shoot will take place over two days to capture the best light, and the final output will be a series of 8-12 high-resolution images suited for magazine publication and social media. This project is especially unique because it will also involve a short behind-the-scenes (BTS) video in a documentary style, interviewing the team and the models about their connection to Hyderabad. The final deliverables will be a cohesive set of images that tell a story of cultural fusion, and the BTS video will give followers a glimpse into the creative process and the beautiful chaos of a fashion shoot in a bustling Indian city.
