Project Brief

This project is a vibrant, cross-platform content series that juxtaposes Hyderabad's 400-year-old heritage with its booming tech-startup energy. The core concept is a 'digital heritage walk'—a curated Instagram Reel/TikTok series where three local creators (each from different creative disciplines) interpret iconic landmarks (Charminar, Golconda, Hussain Sagar) through a modern, hyper-local lens. They'll use augmented reality (AR) filters, popular audio trends, and insider slang to tell stories that resonate with Gen Z while educating them about the city's past. The twist: each creator's content will be 'stitched' together to form a single, collaborative narrative arc, demonstrating the city's contrasting facets in a single feed. What makes this unique is the deliberate blending of 'low-brow' (memes, dance trends) with 'high-concept' (historical facts, architectural details). The team will visit Laad Bazaar, capture the chaos of the pearl market, then overlay it with a digital 'pearl' filter that explains the trade's history. They'll film at the Nizam's Museum, using a capcut template that turns artifacts into 'sigma male' edits. The final output is a 7-day content drop that feels less like an ad for the city and more like a living, breathing digital organism—a true reflection of Hyderabad's dual identity as both a cultural capital and an IT hub. The project is designed to be achievable with a small, nimble team of three to six people, focusing on quick turnarounds, guerrilla-style shooting permits, and maximum organic reach. The success metric is not just views, but genuine audience interaction—comments from locals correcting historical details, or suggesting new spots for future drops.
