This project reimagines Manchester's iconic Northern Quarter as a backdrop for a high-fashion editorial. We will cast local models and stylists to create looks that fuse Victorian-inspired silhouettes with contemporary urban edge, paying homage to the city's textile heritage while pushing creative boundaries. The shoot will take place in landmarks like the Manchester Cathedral, the abandoned warehouses of Ancoats, and the vibrant street art of Stevenson Square, using the contrast of dark, textured moods and pops of neon to tell a story of reinvention. Our team will produce a short fashion film (60-90 seconds) and a series of 10-15 still photographs, both optimized for social media and portfolio use. The narrative follows a lone figure navigating the city's past and present, from the cobbled streets to the glassy towers of Deansgate, symbolizing Manchester's constant evolution. The project is designed to be achievable within a tight timeframe, leveraging the raw, cinematic quality of the city as a living set. By the end, we will deliver a cohesive visual story that captures the spirit of Manchester — bold, resilient, and creative. This project offers creatives the opportunity to experiment with lighting, texture, and narrative in a real-world setting, creating striking imagery that stands out in any portfolio.
