This project reimagines Manchester's iconic warehouse spaces as a hybrid live event: a one-night-only immersive cinema experience that fuses a DJ-led electronic music set with a curated film projection mapped onto the raw, brick walls. The event celebrates Manchester's rich musical heritage—from The Hacienda to the modern underground—while embracing the latest trends in audiovisual performance. The audience will be surrounded by visuals, sound, and the gritty atmosphere of the city's industrial architecture, creating a sensory journey that is both nostalgic and futuristic. The creative vision is to tell the story of Manchester's transformation through a non-linear visual narrative, using archival footage, abstract visuals, and live camera feeds manipulated in real-time. The film component, directed by our talent, will be a short, atmospheric piece that weaves together city landmarks—the Northern Quarter's street art, the canals, the historic mills—into a rhythmic montage, designed to sync with the DJ's set. The event itself is the final deliverable, but the film will also be cut into a standalone piece for online release, extending the project's reach and portfolio value.
