This project juxtaposes the lush, pastoral beauty of the Surrey Hills with the raw, urban energy of London's South Bank. The concept follows a single model as she transforms from a nature-bound wanderer in flowing, organic fabrics to a bold, architectural figure against the brutalist backdrop of the Southbank Centre and the Tate Modern. The shoot will be a visual narrative of contrast — soft vs. hard, natural vs. industrial, calm vs. chaos — all unified by a consistent colour palette and a minimalist, avant-garde wardrobe. The uniqueness lies in the authentic dual-location shoot that showcases two distinct sides of the South East. We'll capture the model amid the rolling hills of Box Hill and the lavender fields of Mayfield Lavender Farm, then pivot to the iconic South Bank with its street art, the National Theatre's concrete geometry, and the river Thames as a reflecting mirror. The final output will be a short film (2-3 minutes) and a set of 10-15 still images, perfect for building a diverse portfolio that demonstrates range and storytelling capability. Current trends in fashion film favour narrative-driven, location-specific stories that feel more like mini-movies than traditional lookbooks. This project leans into that, using real, recognisable places to add authenticity and depth, while keeping the production achievable with a small, dedicated team.
