This project reimagines the industrial grit of East London as a living, breathing runway. We will stage a high-fashion editorial shoot across three distinct locations: the raw concrete of the Barbican Centre, the overgrown railway arches of Hackney Wick, and the unexpected, community-built gardens beneath the Westway. The concept contrasts sharp, deconstructed tailoring with organic, flowing fabrics that mirror the plants reclaiming the city. What makes this unique is the narrative of renewal. Models will not just pose but interact with the environment—walking through a dewy dawn at the Barbican lake, brushing against wildflowers in a Hackney community garden, and standing in stark silhouette against a spray-painted mural. The final deliverable will be a short, cinematic film (60-90 seconds) and a set of 5-8 still images, all styled to feel like frames from a lost A/W campaign. The project leverages the trend of 're-wilding' and the growing aesthetic of 'brutalist beauty'. It's portfolio-worthy for its blend of fashion, architecture, and documentary-style authenticity, achievable by a small, agile team over three weeks.
