This project will create a three-part short film series exploring London through the lens of the Thames Path walkway. Each 8-10 minute episode focuses on a different individual whose life, work, or passion connects deeply with the river - from a veteran mudlarker uncovering historical fragments to a night shift worker crossing bridges at dawn, and a community gardener transforming neglected riverbank spaces. The series captures the changing relationship between Londoners and their iconic waterway, revealing personal narratives against the backdrop of the city's evolving landscape. What makes this project unique is its hyper-local focus combined with cinematic treatment of everyday stories. We'll employ innovative filming techniques including drone shots that follow the river's curve through the city, intimate close-ups during interviews, and time-lapse sequences showing the Thames' transformation from dawn to dusk. The project leverages the current trend for authentic, location-based storytelling while creating portfolio-worthy content that showcases London's diversity beyond tourist landmarks.
