This project reimagines the classic NYC rooftop party as a curated, immersive live experience. We'll produce a series of three intimate, sunset performances at distinct rooftop venues (e.g., a Bushwick warehouse, a Williamsburg hotel, and a Lower East Side tenement). Each event will feature a live musical act, a contemporary dancer, and a VJ creating real-time digital visuals inspired by the skyline. The goal is to capture the raw energy and diversity of New York's creative scene while using the city's iconic skyline as a living backdrop. What makes this unique is the blend of raw, urban grit with polished, high-concept production. We'll use minimal set design, letting the city itself be the canvas. The performances will be filmed from multiple angles (including drone and GoPro) to create a dynamic, behind-the-scenes documentary-style edit that can live on social and as a short film. This project is portfolio-worthy because it demonstrates ability to produce complex live events in non-traditional spaces, manage talent, and create visually arresting content under tight deadlines.
