Echoes of the Underground is a site-specific physical theatre project that transforms the forgotten spaces of London's disused Underground stations into immersive performance venues. The piece draws inspiration from the hidden history of these stations—many of which were used as shelters during the Blitz or remain as time capsules of Victorian engineering—and uses movement, sound, and projection to bring their stories to life. The creative team will devise a 30-minute promenade performance that guides a small audience through the dark, atmospheric tunnels and platforms, blending contemporary dance, mime, and spoken word.
