Set against the majestic backdrop of the Esie Museum grounds, 'Ilorin Harmony' is a curated live music and arts experience that celebrates the region's rich cultural tapestry. The event features three local folk and Afro-acoustic acts performing original songs that tell stories of Ilorin's history, from the ancient Nupe influence to the vibrant present. The venue will be transformed with ambient lighting and handwoven textiles, creating an intimate, moonlit atmosphere. This project is unique because it directly ties performance to place—using the museum's outdoor courtyard as a natural amphitheater. The editor will capture raw, emotional B-roll of the performance intercut with shots of the museum's artifacts and the audience's reactions, producing both a live stream and an edited highlight reel for social media. The goal is to create a visually poetic documentation that feels like a love letter to Ilorin. The small team will include the editor, a sound engineer, a stage manager, and two performers. The editor's role is crucial for planning shots during rehearsals and executing a seamless multi-camera setup during the live show.
