Thames & Wey is a fashion film and editorial project that captures the contrasting beauty of London and Surrey through the lens of sustainable fashion. The concept follows a protagonist (played by an actor-model) as they journey from the bustling streets of Shoreditch and the South Bank to the serene landscapes of the River Wey and the Surrey Hills. The narrative explores themes of escape, identity, and environmental consciousness, using the river as a metaphor for flow and transformation. The project is unique in its hyper-local focus, collaborating with London-based sustainable designers and Surrey-based makers to showcase garments that tell a story of place. The film will be shot in a documentary-meets-fashion style, with a soundtrack featuring local musicians, and will culminate in a digital lookbook and a short film for festival submission.
