This project will create a triptych of large-scale murals, each located in a distinct neighborhood of New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. The murals will share a unified visual language inspired by the unique coastal flora and urban textures of each city—subway tiles in New York, Art Deco pastels in Miami, and palm fronds in LA. What makes this project groundbreaking is its integration of augmented reality: viewers can point their phones at hidden markers within each mural to unlock animated layers, soundscapes, and spoken-word narratives contributed by local artists. The result is a dynamic, participatory art experience that bridges three iconic American cities and celebrates their individual rhythms.
