This project turns one of Bengaluru's most iconic traffic bottlenecks—the Silk Board junction—into a spectacular public art and event experience. Over four weeks, a small team of artists will create a large-scale mural on the underpass walls, inspired by the city's dual identity: its silk heritage and its rise as a global tech hub. The mural will weave motifs of silk threads, traditional sarees, and the mulberry leaf with circuit boards, data streams, and startup culture, symbolizing the seamless flow of tradition and innovation. The process will be an open-air studio, with weekend live-painting sessions that invite passersby and local communities to interact with the artists, share stories, and even add their own strokes under guidance. The project culminates in a 'Night of Illumination', a live event with projection mapping on the completed mural, a local traditional music performance, and a community curation talk, celebrating the artwork and the city's collective spirit.
